We are excited to share that Nyerges & Partners has advised Cristian Barbu and Future Power in the sale of a three-project wind portfolio totaling 235 MW to OX2, one of the leading renewable-energy investors active in Romania. Located across Vaslui and Vrancea counties, the projects are set to reach commissioning between 2028โ2030.
The legal assistance covered all stages of the transaction, including advice on structuring the deal, support in drafting and negotiating all transaction documents (MoU, SPA, DSA), and closing activities.
The project team was led by Mihaela Nyerges (Managing Partner) and included Monica Cune-Ghitescu (Counsel), advising on real estate and urbanism matters, and Larisa Alexandra Nicolae (Managing Associate), handling corporate-related matters.
Our team continues to advise Cristian Barbu and Future Power on the development of these projects and all Romanian investments, including developing and divesting a 600 MW portfolio of standalone BESS projects.
