Mihaela Nyerges
Mihaela has 20 years of experience in the legal profession, having assisted Governmental authorities, publicly held companies, as well as domestic and international private entities across various industries. Her experience spans over M&A, real estate & urbanism, constructions, corporate finance as well as corporate & commercial matters.
She has broad expertise in the energy sector, having coordinated numerous complex investment projects and having assisted many of the key players on the Romanian energy market including developers, producers, grid operators, suppliers, traders, financing banks. Mihaela is particularly skilled in renewable energy, where she has intensively provided guidance to investors and developers in both "waves" of renewables. She is an active member of the energy industry associations, having wide experience in the elaboration of regulations in the energy sector.
Mihaela’s previous experience includes acting as managing associate for 10 years within the M&A and Energy & Natural Resources practice group of a first-tier Romanian law firm

Carolina Baloleanu
Carolina has been advising clients in the banking and finance sector for more than 12 years, having acted in financing transactions both on the lender, as well as on the borrower’s side. She has also assisted credit and financial institutions with compliance and regulatory matters.
She has extensive experience in M&A transactions, having assisted clients (both buyer and seller sides) in multiple prominent M&A transactions on the Romanian market.
Carolina’s experience also covers the area of corporate and commercial law, having acted for various domestic and international companies, both on specific projects and in relation to day-to-day corporate and commercial matters.
Carolina has strong knowledge of the regulatory framework of the energy sector in Romania, having assisted investors and lenders with respect to greenfield power generation projects, as well as major multinational and local energy suppliers in relation to various regulatory and contractual matters.

Doina Anghelescu
Doina is highly specialized in complex financing transactions (starting from working capital loans to investment loans, from syndicated financing and LMA based projects to structured finance), having managed the legal aspects related to financing of bank’s clients, working both as bank’s counsel or client’s legal advisor. She acquired experience with high tier banks present in Romania and with top law firms.
Doina has coordinated the legal affairs of Caixabank S.A.-Romanian Branch, acting as Head of Legal for several years until the bank exited Romania. Previously, she also acted as legal advisor in BCR S.A., and legal advisor to Raiffeisen Bank, coordinating the special projects legal support team (for large corporate clients). Her main activity, as an in-house lawyer, concerned the legal counseling and assistance on corporate finance, working on syndication projects (LMA based contracts), project finance, investment banking and structured finance. Said priceless experience gives her the advantage of understanding the multiple implications a financing transaction and enables her to quantify the interests of the contractual partners till successful completion of the transaction. .
